Borrowing

Our DNA is eclectic. Our genes are a combination of those from mothers and fathers and their ancestors. So we have borrowed a lot of genes to become what we are.

So it is with buildings. Is there a truly unique building? Almost all buildings have borrowed elements.

Exhibit 1. Hall in Machu Picchu, Peru. Inca.

Exhibit 2. Hall in Museo de la Nacion in Lima, Peru. Latin American.
